Grand Prize: MP5-SD Phosphor

About the game:

Fans of Counter-Strike are a special audience. A lot are still arguing about the superiority of version 1.5 more than 1.6, let alone a comprehensive remake on the new engine! A previous attempt to replace the obsolete 1.6 happened in 2004 and instead failed: Counter-Strike: Source seemed great and flaunted believable physics, although pro-gamers vehemently refused it. Running feels distinct, and grenades fly curiously, and...

GO and source are split by up to eight decades. Valve had plenty of time to weigh, comprehend, and also craft a remake, in which everything will be right. And hence, the basic idea in GO did not go much a millimeter: two teams of five (or more) people, "villains" and fighters from terrorism. Fight to the survivor. Terrorists are mainly entertained by obeying key factors and holding hostages, while the "good forces" of these hostages are trying to spare, along with the bomb and its owners to be neutralized. And never vice versa.

The key of Counter-Strike's fame lies in its simplicity (although there is always room for honing skills), so it would be foolish to anticipate skills, leveling, and human-crewed vehicles at GO. Purchase weapons at the beginning of the round and operate, riddling the enemies with bullets - it's that simple! There is not any mode by right-clicking: we take in the old fashioned way, on the go.

There are currently four ways - . To the traditional amusements from the format "hold or save the hostages" or "place or neutralize the explosives" that they inserted the ex-modification GunGame, which is now referred to as the "Arms Race." All players around the map begin the battle using pistols, and more powerful "guns" immediately get for kills. The person who first watched a frag from each rifle (26 in total) and stabbed at the last victim using a knife wins the round.

The second novelty is "Destruction of this object." This is really a blitzkrieg for 2 groups. One is attempting to blow off a point, and the other one is defending it. Skirmishes take place on miniature maps, where there are a lot of alleys and also "camping" places. These locations are similar to maps from Modern Warfare. And the action looks like Domination mode from Unreal Tournament. The control point about the map is just one - each team needs to have to it first and keep it.

In Hungry Offensive (for the first time in CS!), a training emerged. Instructions teach the best way to switch between a primary and secondary weapon fast, and how to use bombs, how to shoot through shelters. One thing was embarrassing: the obstacle course firmly remind the weapons class and, particularly of Modern Warfare. A tribute to classics, perhaps.

It's all coming back

Old manners are now available in two variants: easy and "how it ought to be." The friendly "casual" mode floats shooting partners, makes it possible to pass through them, and provides both sides with totally free armor. In the "appropriate" way, such indulgences do not exist, but you're generously rewarded for frags.

Maps are familiar to everybody both in the beta version of CS and in CS 1.6. Italy, with its narrow roads and nervous hens, the famous suspension bridge and sewer dump from Aztec, an urbanized Office using hostages with twists, a tandem in the Middle East Dust and Dust2, as well as the championship trinity: Train, Inferno, along with Nuke.

All of them are divided by jobs, and there are two maps with hostages - Italy and Office. Militia, Assault, and Estate obtained thrown. But they will return together with the zombie mode, the release of which was planned to coincide with the release of the computer game.

World of Valve

According to legend, the Left 4 Dead appeared thanks to Counter-Strike. One modification forbade bots to work with firearms and armed forces them with knives. Doomed to rush into combat, the robots looked very much like zombies out of L4D. Hence the notion of the popular zombie shot was created: machine guns and shotguns against claws and teeth. And after many decades, CS paid great for good.

Global Offensive has two maps modeled on campaigns. The first is a replica of the swamp village out of Swamp Fever (L4D2). Attentive players may also observe a yacht. Another map right imitates the incident of Death Toll (L4D): there's a lakeside house where fighters had to defend themselves before the coming of the rescue boat.

And this is not the gaming crossover in Valve. The combined action movie Payday: The Heist obtained a No Mercy effort, which touches on the "green flu" out of L4D. Interestingly, this is the beginning of the multiverse or an ordinary lover service?

GO refused to adhere to the mod's direct: the parties begin each fight in conditions, along with there's not any leveling out of the battles. CS money is earned by killing enemies and maneuvers like planting a bomb or rescuing hostages. At the start of the round (the party contains several players), armor, weapons, along with grenades are bought for that cash. Among the latter new products made their introduction : the molotov cocktail and grenades, with the support of that it is simple to block the corridors and put fire with fighters.

They are accompanied by grenades that were false, mimicking the sounds - because players often concentrate on sounds, it may be helpful. Also, the Zeus electroshock seemed. It could kill point . There is just 1 problem - it's a weapon. The shocker is wasted if you miss, and you will be left . For a couple of minutes, but still...
