Grand Prize: 150,000 STEEL CREDITS PACK

About the game:

From the very start, it was clear that difficulties awaited For Honor. The developers did not opt for the most popular setting, generated mechanics which weren't especially easy and in addition, decided to sharpen the company under multiplayer. Is the danger justified? Until you say . But then we could say for certain that the creators of the game dealt with the main thing - they made the game fascinating.

Over the average

Even though For Honor is mostly focused on multiplayer, there's also a single player campaign in the sport. And she deals with her task presents the battle system, the entire world for which we have to shed blood in struggles, represents. And gives hours of fights that are entertaining.

The plot here, however, is simple. There were knights, samurai, and Vikings, and they lived. But there was a cataclysm, because of which the resources of all fractions conducted out. Thus began the millennium war, and when the problems with water and meals were solved, the parties continued to struggle - so, according to the old habit. And some man in a helmet-skull is currently massaging oil to the fire - she is fueling another war, and, to quicken choice, believes that historians possess the right to live. It is in this war that we have to fight.

The story assignments don't pose any revelations: there is no outstanding directing in them, no complicated story either. For eight hours, we go through deal with enemies and arenas for various characters, and we see videos that are funny but easy. The heroes scream something about their people, betrayal, war, honor, and so on.
But, regardless of the meager supply, from time to time, the story remains fascinating. In some cut scenes, simple but effective jokes slide through, along with the characters evoke sympathy. The plot itself turned out to be simple, but solid: it contributes to a logical and a sad ending. But most importantly is very great to play thanks to a couple things.

Three match features

The first is that the mechanisms appropriate. The For Honor combat system is really a catchy hybrid mechanic like fighting sport and Souls. When the hero is rushed in by every trifle, the match can not be distinguished from an ordinary slasher. Nonetheless, it is worthwhile to confront a severe competition (and there are most of them), as everything changes immediately. That is putting the cube here is not enough; off from where it came you have to divert the blow. The attack should also be considerate - the enemy can repel a hail of blows, so you've got to look for places, deceive, striking out of the side, and so forth, and swinging in one direction. Additionally, there are different types of strokes, their mixtures, the ability to split through a block, parry, grabs, thrusts, strikes in a hop and from acceleration, completing rolls, and many, many different things that turn fights into intense and very difficult battles, where to think, watch and show patience is not any less critical than reflecting blows in time.

In this case, the main thing which makes this procedure fascinating is that the characters acting both as enemies and as heroes. Any available fighter isn't just a version, and everybody has their own combinations, sets of motions, range of attack, "rate" features, and dozens of subtleties that have to be analyzed for quite a very long time. In case a Viking with an ax is a slow but mighty warrior, capable of stunning and hurling enemies into the abyss, then a samurai woman with a naginata is the embodiment of rate, it is sometimes difficult to approach her. And both will have their own set of attacks, tricks, and abilities.
Ultimately, the final chord is the landscapes themselves. They suggest to generate a slaughter either in the walls of a knight's castle, then in a scenic forest, or even in the mountains. But the issue is that there are items such as bonfires in the floor. With their help, you can get rid getting pushed one into the abyss, for instance, which helps a lot in conflicts at which you are outnumbered by the enemies.

Due to these three elements, an understandable and in the exact same time, profound gameplay is obtained. In For Honor, you need to think about when to defend, and when to strike, be careful not to miss a blow use all the skills of these characters and consider what the enemy hero is really capable of. And that takes sword fighting to an almost amount, which was not even in Souls.
It is a little disappointing that, slowly, opponents become boring under the control of artificial intelligence, because they're fighting according to the very same principles. Be ready for the fact that for example, he will hit from over, then two out of the left, and after that, he'll go to a defense mode if you are attacked by a governor. Memorized? You can now set them in packs.
